About the Job


Brompton is seeking an early-career candidate to join our team. If you are a creative, flexible, enthusiastic self-starter with a strong work ethic and a high level of attention to detail, we have a dynamic and exciting opportunity for you to consider! This position will provide the successful candidate with a unique, accelerated opportunity to gain meaningful experience across a wide range of functional roles in the ETF and CEF industry, including Product Development and Management, National Accounts, Capital Markets, Institutional Sales, Fund Analytics and Wholesaler Support. With appropriate development, we expect this candidate to eventually take on more external client-facing responsibilities. What you will do:


Sales & Relationship Support:


  • Assist senior ETF staff in relationship and sales coverage of key external parties including ETF Sell-Side Analysts & Traders, Family Offices, Institutional Investors, and Media contacts.Along with senior staff, arrange in-person or virtual meetings and webinars, make phone calls and prepare email follow-ups as needed to current and prospective service providers/clients


Capital Markets & Sales Analytics:


  • Respond to Wholesaler team questions and requests for fund analysis and commentary
  • Use financial data tools and Salesforce to track Brompton ETF trading activity and Wholesaler sales activity, and provide commentary ad-hoc to Senior Management, on request
  • With guidance from senior staff, facilitate Investment Advisor trading opportunities as identified by Brompton Wholesaler team by sourcing dealer counterparties for intra-day trades or end-of-day cash or in-kind ETF creates
  • Monitor ETF trading and maintain communication with ETF market makers to ensure competitive trading spreads for Brompton ETF products.
  • As required, assist SVP, CEFs in gathering data, preparing analysis and marketing documents, and working with external legal counsel and investment banking advisors to draft offering documents in support of capital raising efforts (IPOs, overnight and at-the-market offerings) for Brompton’s Closed-End Fund/Split Share Fund suit


Marketing & Product Development:


  • With guidance from senior staff and in co-ordination with Marketing team, use financial data tools, input from PMs and other sources to prepare marketing documents for distribution to Investment Advisors, other key external parties, and the investing public
  • Keep key marketing materials current by updating market data and developing new messaging/new exhibits for materials, on a regular and timely basis
  • Assist senior staff in ETF Product Development and Management efforts.
  • Develop analysis and presentations to communicate potential benefits and risks of new ETF launches.
  • Draft key marketing document for new ETF launches.
  • Participate in meetings with internal staff including PMs, Compliance and Finance, and with external subadvisors, legal counsel, and other service providers, to successfully conceptualize, secure internal approvals for, document and launch new ETFs


Your Qualifications:


  • Honours Bachelor’s degree in Business (or equivalent);
  • We welcome applications from upcoming Spring 2026 graduates as well as candidates with 1-3 years of professional experience in investments. Working knowledge of investment principles and investment funds; demonstrated solid research and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in working with Salesforce is a plus
  • Working knowledge of LSEG Eikon/Morningstar Direct, or equivalent competitive data systems, is a plus
  • Some experience in using AI tools for automation of simple tasks, is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task or manage multiple projects and deliver to a tight deadline
  • Willingness to learn new skills; strong attention to detail & self-checking of work; enthusiasm, engagement and a drive to establish or further your career in the investment industry; are all highly sought-after characteristics

Location:


  • The office is located in downtown Toronto (Bay Street) and is full-time in office.
  • Position to be filled immediately.
  • Salary range of $60,000 to $95,000


The base salary range for this role reflects the breadth of experience and proficiency we are willing to consider. Final compensation offered will be determined by assessing the candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education and alignment with the team’s needs. The salary range does not include bonus or other rewards.
