Scale Model Fabricator / Model Assembler (Project-Based/Urgent)

Location: Greater Toronto Area (Mississauga preferred)

Project Duration: Immediate start – completion required before April 10

Our client is preparing a trade show exhibit and is looking for a skilled model fabricator / assembler to build a simplified physical scale model of a manufacturing facility and surrounding buildings.

This is a short-term project-based opportunity for someone experienced in architectural models, exhibition models, prototype fabrication, or detailed hand assembly.

The assembler will primarily focus on layout, assembly, and finishing of the scale model, using supplied components. We will also provide HO scale landscaping and site elements, including trees, grass, roads, cars, and trucks, to help create a realistic presentation of the site.

• Assembling a physical scale model of a factory site
• Including 4 surrounding buildings and site elements
• Working from printed 3D models (will be designed and printed), purchased elements, drawings, or simplified layouts.
• Preparing the model for trade show presentation
• Ensuring the model is clean, stable, and visually presentable

We are looking for someone with experience in areas such as:

• Architectural model making
• Exhibition / museum models
• Industrial design prototyping
• Laser cutting, foam board, acrylic, or similar materials
• LED Lighting
• Fine hand assembly and detailing

Experience with trade show displays or presentation models is a strong advantage.

• Urgent timeline: completion needed before April 5
• Project-based contract
• Location: GTA preferred (ability to work with physical materials)
• Compensation based on experience and project scope.
