Title: HR Manager
Reports to: President/CEO
Location: Head Office – Brampton, ON
Summary of Position :
Our client is on the hunt for a Human Resources Manager to work out of their offices on the Brampton/Mississauga border.
Reporting to the CEO/Managing Partner, the Human Resources Manager is both a strategic and hands-on role that will develop, implement, and align HR programs with business objectives. The HR Manager will partner with business leaders on strategies and programs that identify, attract, align, and retain talent. This role will provide subject matter expertise and support to people leaders and team members in the areas of employee relations, performance and talent management, programs and policies, talent acquisition, on-boarding and orientation, and people development.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Work with leadership to support recruitment and selection
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and partner with department leaders to develop and implement solutions (i.e. career development, training, onboarding, etc)
• Assist leaders in identifying high potential talent and preparing development and opportunities for growth
• Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies (i.e. exit interview data, turnover data, onboarding feedback, etc.)
• Overseeing HR program and policy creation and compliance to employment laws and regulations
• Maintain a well- rounded understanding of relevant employment legislation to provide appropriate counsel to people leaders as required and mitigate legal risk
• Oversee an effective and efficient performance management process, making sure that the organization’s managers are equipped to engage in constructive and ongoing feedback and coaching
• Manage employee relations and provide support to people leaders in resolution of issues, including conducting investigations, coaching, counselling and recommendations on appropriate actions.
• Build a trusting and respectful relationship with team members to gather feedback and identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and lead social media presence and company communications.
• Conduct pro-active visits to offsite facilities, or sales ride-a long’s, to engage in formal and informal team member feedback and information sessions. Travel of approximately 10%
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Degree in Human Resources or CHRP preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of Human Resources experience.
• Requires outstanding interpersonal, coaching and listening skills with the ability to communicate within levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to remain objective, discrete and exercise common sense at all times. Able to develop strong, trusting relationships within the department and organization.
• Sound decision making capability.
• Strong technical skills with Human Resources Information Systems
• Comfortable with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Thrives in a dynamic environment and able to work on various projects simultaneously, requiring strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strategic leadership.
• Creating and formulating future vison with Senior Management Team
