About the Role:

As our Product Owner, you will oversee the day-to-day execution and ensure vision alignment for our squads. You act as the vital link between product requirements, project visions, deadlines and more. You are responsible for managing the backlog and ensuring that every sprint delivers real, high-impact value to the real estate legal community.

Duties & Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be the engine of our Agile process, performing the following:

• Backlog Leadership: Manage and refine the product backlog to reflect LawLabs’ business priorities and direct customer feedback from legal professionals.
• Story Architecture: Translate complex legal and technical requirements into actionable user stories and clear acceptance points for developers.
• Value Prioritization: Prioritize features, bug fixes, and workflow improvements to maximize the value delivered in every sprint.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work daily with developers, designers, and QA testers to ensure complete alignment on \"the what\" and \"the why.\"
• Agile Ceremonies: Lead and participate in all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Feedback Loop: Proactively gather feedback from the user experience research team and investors to adapt and continuously improve the platform.
• Progress Monitoring: Monitor delivery against goals and make real-time adjustments to keep product releases on track and high-quality.

Qualifications:

• Agile Expertise: 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner in a SaaS environment using Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders/investors.
• Technical Literacy: Comfortable discussing API integrations and modern cloud-based software architectures.
• Value-Driven: A proven track record of making data-informed decisions that prioritize user value over \"cool features.\"

Nice-to-Haves:

• Legal Practice Background: Experience working as a Real Estate Clerk or Lawyer is a significant asset.
• Integrations Specialist: Experience with digital ID verification (KYC), AML compliance tools, or electronic registration systems.
• UI/UX Obsession: A passion for creating \"world-class\" interfaces that make complex legal tasks feel intuitive.
