Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks and trailers.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Inspect merchandise for any damages or discrepancies.
- Accurately record all received items into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Label and stage received inventory for put-away or further processing.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding deliveries.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and properly utilize required PPE.
- Support overall warehouse logistics and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse receiving or a similar logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency with WMS software is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 45 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Basic math and computer literacy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Safety procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
