We're looking for a motivated Picker/Packer to join our bustling warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia. This position is key to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that products are accurately selected and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for picking items from various locations within the warehouse based on customer orders and then carefully packing them to prevent damage during transit. Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy are essential qualities for success in this role. Working within our logistics operations, you will contribute to the timely and efficient delivery of goods. We are committed to maintaining a safe workplace, and all employees must rigorously follow safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires physical stamina, as it involves consistent lifting, bending, and standing. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanners.
- Inspect items for quality and damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring proper materials are used.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain productivity standards for picking and packing.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and stock counts.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse roles is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and labels.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse safety practices.
- Ability to stand and move for the duration of the shift.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
