Are you a motivated individual looking for an opportunity in warehouse operations? We are hiring an Order Picker for our busy facility in Tampa, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. Your day-to-day tasks will involve picking items from warehouse shelves according to order sheets, packing them securely for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. This role requires precision, speed, and a strong commitment to quality. You'll be working closely with our logistics team to ensure that all orders are processed on time and meet our high standards. We value safety above all else, and you will be expected to follow all guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including frequent lifting and standing for extended periods, is essential. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from shelves based on customer orders.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Operate hand trucks or pallet jacks as needed.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and use required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Meet productivity targets for order fulfillment.
- Communicate any issues with orders or inventory to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms accurately.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
