Join our expanding logistics operations in Phoenix, Arizona, as a Picker/Packer! We are seeking driven individuals to accurately fulfill customer orders and prepare them for shipment. This position is fundamental to our warehouse's efficiency and requires a meticulous approach to picking and packing processes. You will be responsible for ensuring that orders are correct, well-packaged, and ready for dispatch. Working within our dynamic team, you'll contribute to a positive and productive warehouse environment. A focus on safety and accuracy is paramount in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Select items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders, utilizing scanners and pick lists.
- Verify product details and quantities against order specifications.
- Package items carefully to prevent damage during transit, selecting appropriate shipping materials.
- Apply shipping labels accurately and efficiently.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies to move goods.
- Maintain the tidiness and organization of your assigned workspace and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Follow all established safety guidelines and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Achieve performance targets for order accuracy and speed.
- Support inventory control initiatives and assist with stock checks when requested.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to interpret order forms and identify products accurately.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and be mobile for the duration of the shift.
- Capability to lift and move items up to 40 pounds consistently.
- Understanding of safe warehouse practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with general logistics principles is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety regulations.
