We are hiring Order Pickers in Houston, Texas! This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing **Logistics** team and play a key role in our order fulfillment process. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and efficiency are crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction. We prioritize **Safety** above all else and provide comprehensive training and necessary **PPE**. Responsibilities:
- Locate and pick specified items from warehouse inventory using pick lists or scanners.
- Verify product information to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items appropriately for shipment, ensuring **Safety** during transit.
- Stage picked orders for quality control and shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and **Safety**-compliant work station.
- Adhere to all company **Logistics** policies and procedures.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as needed.
- Wear and utilize all required **PPE**, including **Safety** vests and gloves.
- Communicate any **Safety** hazards or inventory issues to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior warehouse or order picking experience is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods.
- Capacity for **Lifting** up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail in selecting items.
- Familiarity with **Logistics** processes and warehouse **Safety** standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using RF scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Must be willing to wear **PPE**.
- Commitment to workplace **Safety**.
