We are seeking diligent and efficient Order Pickers to join our logistics team in Kansas City, Missouri. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse storage locations based on customer orders. Your attention to detail and speed are critical to ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will use scanning technology to manage inventory and track picked items. Safety is paramount in our operations, and you will be required to follow all safety procedures meticulously and wear the appropriate PPE at all times. This position requires significant physical activity, including walking throughout the warehouse, bending, reaching, and Lifting items of varying weights. Previous experience in order picking, packing, or general warehouse work is highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves and bins.
- Verify item numbers and quantities against order lists or electronic devices.
- Scan items to update inventory records and track order progress.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear and accessible.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support team objectives.
