Are you an experienced Order Picker looking for an opportunity in San Francisco, California? Our logistics company is seeking reliable and efficient individuals to join our dedicated warehouse team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, ensuring the correct quantity and product are selected. This role is essential to our order fulfillment process and requires precision and speed. You'll work with a scanning system to track inventory movement and maintain accuracy. We prioritize safety above all else, and all team members must strictly follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. The job involves significant physical activity, including walking, reaching, bending, and Lifting items of various weights. A good physical condition is a must. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting, particularly with order picking or packing, is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order sheets/scanners.
- Ensure correct items and quantities are picked.
- Scan items and update inventory systems in real-time.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
