We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Picker/Packers in Orlando, Florida. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately picking orders and preparing them for shipment, ensuring that our customers receive their products correctly and on time. This position is a cornerstone of our logistics operations, requiring speed, accuracy, and a keen eye for detail. You will be working in a dynamic warehouse environment, adhering to all safety procedures and using the appropriate PPE . The role involves significant standing, walking, and the potential for frequent lifting .
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and labeling for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE .
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the shipping and receiving departments within our logistics framework.
- Perform tasks that may involve repetitive motion and moderate lifting .
- Meet daily picking and packing quotas while maintaining high quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to read pick lists and identify products accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both individually and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform frequent lifting of items up to 30 pounds.
- Commitment to adhering to all workplace safety procedures.
- Must be able to wear and use all required PPE .
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with logistics terminology is a plus.
