We are looking for skilled Material Handlers to join our dynamic warehouse team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our facility. Responsibilities include receiving and dispatching materials, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining an organized stockroom. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials accurately.
- Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move inventory.
- Organize warehouse stock to optimize space and accessibility.
- Support shipping and receiving departments as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, free from hazards.
- Assist in maintaining the overall efficiency of logistics operations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in material handling, warehousing, or logistics.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other relevant equipment (certification preferred).
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, up to 55 pounds.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Good physical condition and stamina for demanding tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to adhere to strict PPE requirements.
- Team player with good communication skills.
