We are hiring Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this crucial role, you will be at the forefront of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include efficiently locating and retrieving items from our warehouse inventory, and then meticulously packing them for secure transit. This is an ideal position for individuals who are detail-oriented and enjoy working in a productive, team-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on provided orders.
- Inspect items for any damage or discrepancies before packing.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during shipping.
- Prepare packages for dispatch, applying correct labels and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace according to warehouse standards.
- Operate equipment such as RF scanners and potentially pallet jacks.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and utilize all required PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse or fulfillment setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks, up to 50 lbs, as required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Capacity to stand, walk, and move continuously throughout the shift.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory management principles is a plus.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to teamwork.
- Must comply with all safety regulations and wear provided PPE.
