We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our Madison, Wisconsin facility. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing regular cycle counts, and ensuring the integrity of our stock. Your attention to detail and organizational skills are paramount to the success of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Receive, verify, and record incoming inventory.
- Track and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Organize inventory storage areas for optimal efficiency and accessibility.
- Assist with put-away and replenishment processes.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including the appropriate use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 30 lbs when necessary.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety protocols.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
