Join our bustling logistics center as a Picker/Packer in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that products are accurately picked from inventory and meticulously packed for shipment. You will be responsible for locating items using RF scanners or pick lists, verifying quantities, and ensuring the correct items are selected for each order. Following this, you will carefully pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring they are protected during transit and correctly labeled. The ideal candidate is energetic, highly organized, and possesses excellent attention to detail. A strong commitment to workplace safety, including the proper use of PPE, is essential. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to our goal of delivering exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on pick lists or RF scanner data.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items into appropriate boxes or containers, ensuring secure and efficient packaging.
- Apply shipping labels and any necessary documentation to packages.
- Inspect packed orders for quality and accuracy before staging for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks as needed.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing goals.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics and fulfillment operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, packing, or fulfillment role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand product labels and order information.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work at a fast pace.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
