We are looking for a motivated Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse operations in Denver, Colorado. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the initial intake of all incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Your duties will include unloading trucks, inspecting merchandise for damage, verifying received items against purchase orders, and entering receiving data into our inventory system. This position is fundamental to maintaining accurate inventory levels and supporting efficient warehouse logistics. The successful candidate will possess keen observational skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A commitment to safety is paramount, and you will be expected to use appropriate PPE and follow all safety guidelines. Regular lifting and movement of goods will be part of your daily routine.
Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks.
- Inspect all incoming goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Verify received items against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Accurately record received goods into the inventory management system.
- Stock received items in designated warehouse locations.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors and relevant departments.
- Maintain a clean and safe receiving area, ensuring proper use of PPE.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently (certification may be required).
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role is highly desirable. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Basic computer proficiency. Must be capable of frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Adherence to strict safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE, is required.
