We are looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our St. Louis, Missouri facility. This role is vital for ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our warehouse operations. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing shipments. Success in this position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your contribution will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands and maintain inventory integrity. We are deeply committed to a culture of Safety , and all associates are expected to adhere to established procedures and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ) correctly. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage.
- Accurately stock merchandise into designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
- Pick and pack customer orders efficiently, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected and prepared for shipment.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, applying labels and staging them for carrier pickup.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all warehouse and Safety standards.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts and full inventory checks.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE .
