Join our team as an Order Picker in Seattle, Washington! This role is fundamental to our ability to serve our customers, focusing on the accurate and efficient retrieval of products from our warehouse inventory. As an Order Picker, you will use RF scanners or pick lists to locate and gather items specified on customer orders. You'll ensure that the correct products and quantities are picked, contributing to inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction. This fast-paced role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to meeting performance targets within our robust Logistics framework. We uphold the highest standards of workplace Safety , and you will be trained on and required to follow all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ).
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to customer order specifications using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify picked items and quantities to ensure order accuracy before moving to the next stage.
- Efficiently navigate the warehouse to fulfill multiple orders within designated timeframes.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory levels or product availability to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all warehouse and Safety guidelines.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse picking role is a significant plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE .
