Join our thriving warehouse in Portland, Oregon as a Warehouse Associate! We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to support our daily logistics operations. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping preparation. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory, checking for accuracy and damage.
- Stock shelves and storage areas with incoming goods, ensuring proper placement and organization.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer requirements and internal procedures.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently (certification may be required for forklifts).
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment, strictly adhering to all Safety protocols and the mandated use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and perpetual inventory management.
- Identify and report any operational issues or safety hazards to management.
- Support overall logistics efficiency and contribute to team goals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform strenuous activities including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to upholding Safety standards in all tasks.
