We have an exciting opportunity for an Order Picker in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! Become a key player in our warehouse operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled. As an Order Picker, you will navigate the warehouse to locate and retrieve specified items from storage. This role demands precision, speed, and a strong sense of responsibility. Your contribution is vital to our logistics network, directly impacting customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, sometimes fast-paced environment. We emphasize a strong commitment to Safety and expect all team members to adhere to our established protocols. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations. Performance will be measured by picking accuracy and efficiency. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from assigned locations based on order details provided by scanning devices or pick lists.
- Confirm the correctness of items and quantities picked before moving them to the next stage.
- Transport picked orders to staging or packing areas.
- Utilize hand trucks or pallet jacks for moving larger quantities or heavier items.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of picking areas and common warehouse spaces.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures without exception.
- Wear and maintain appropriate PPE at all times.
- Meet productivity targets for picking speed and accuracy.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Support the overall logistics flow of the warehouse.
This role necessitates regular lifting of items, standing for prolonged periods, and constant movement throughout the warehouse. A strong focus on safety is a requirement for all candidates.
