Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, implementing control procedures, and ensuring optimal stock levels. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management best practices. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
- Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
- Ensure accurate data entry into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Develop and recommend improvements to inventory processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, focusing on product identification and placement.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Support overall logistics and operational efficiency through accurate inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with WMS and inventory management software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using PPE.
