Join our vibrant team as a Shipping Clerk in Phoenix, Arizona! In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of outgoing shipments. You'll prepare shipping labels, pack orders with care, and coordinate with carriers to ensure all goods leave our facility on schedule. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to upholding our high standards of logistics and customer service. You will be a key player in our supply chain, ensuring that our products reach our customers efficiently and without damage. Proper handling and packaging are essential to prevent damage during transit.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and shipping labels.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to specifications.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL) to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain an organized and clean shipping area.
- Operate shipping equipment such as pallet jacks and tape machines.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all logistics and shipping regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse role preferred.
- Basic computer skills for using shipping software and tracking systems.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of logistics and shipping processes.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with standard PPE.
