Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, process, and verify all shipping documents, including manifests, bills of lading, and tracking information.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of orders to confirm accuracy before they are dispatched.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers (truckload, LTL, parcel) to arrange timely pickups and deliveries.
  • Operate shipping-related equipment such as scanners, scales, and label printers efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all outgoing shipments and associated documentation.
  • Communicate shipment status updates to internal stakeholders and external customers as needed.
  • Ensure all packages are correctly packed, labeled, and secured, adhering to Lifting guidelines.
  • Enforce company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts and general warehouse organization to support logistics efficiency.
  • Resolve any shipping discrepancies or issues in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a Shipping Clerk, Logistics Coordinator, or similar role is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with shipping software and common business applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a focus on accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of domestic and international shipping procedures.
  • Strong commitment to workplace Safety and ability to follow Safety protocols.
  • Ability to perform light to moderate Lifting duties as required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be willing to wear required PPE.
