Responsibilities:
- Prepare, process, and verify all shipping documents, including manifests, bills of lading, and tracking information.
- Conduct thorough inspections of orders to confirm accuracy before they are dispatched.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers (truckload, LTL, parcel) to arrange timely pickups and deliveries.
- Operate shipping-related equipment such as scanners, scales, and label printers efficiently.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all outgoing shipments and associated documentation.
- Communicate shipment status updates to internal stakeholders and external customers as needed.
- Ensure all packages are correctly packed, labeled, and secured, adhering to Lifting guidelines.
- Enforce company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and general warehouse organization to support logistics efficiency.
- Resolve any shipping discrepancies or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Shipping Clerk, Logistics Coordinator, or similar role is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and common business applications.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a focus on accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Understanding of domestic and international shipping procedures.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and ability to follow Safety protocols.
- Ability to perform light to moderate Lifting duties as required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be willing to wear required PPE.
