In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and gathering products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and accuracy are critical to our supply chain operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position involves working with order lists and scanning equipment to locate and retrieve items. We prioritize a safe working environment; therefore, strict adherence to safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to perform frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. We are looking for energetic, detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick designated items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Utilize scanning devices and order sheets to locate and verify products.
- Ensure the correct quantity and type of items are selected for each order.
- Package picked items appropriately for transit, ensuring product integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all warehouse safety guidelines.
- Report any stock discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks as needed.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE throughout the shift.
- Contribute to overall team goals and efficient logistics flow.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and PPE usage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
