Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Organize and maintain inventory in a systematic and accessible manner.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for outgoing shipment according to specifications.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, ensuring clear aisles and safe access.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Perform other material handling tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is required.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 70 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and the use of PPE.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role and a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
