Join our dynamic **Logistics** team in Miami, Florida, as a Receiving Clerk. In this essential role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring that all goods are received, inspected, and documented accurately. Your attention to detail and commitment to **Safety** are critical to maintaining the integrity of our inventory and the efficiency of our warehouse operations. This position requires organization, efficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments. Responsibilities include:
- Receiving and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
- Inspecting goods for damage or defects, and reporting any issues.
- Accurately documenting all received items in the inventory system.
- Unloading trucks and containers, using appropriate equipment when necessary.
- Storing received goods in designated areas, ensuring proper organization.
- Coordinating with vendors and internal teams regarding incoming shipments.
- Adhering to all **Safety** protocols and procedures for receiving operations.
- **Lifting** and moving packages, potentially weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Proper use and maintenance of required **PPE**.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent record-keeping abilities. Previous experience in receiving, inventory, or a **Logistics**-related role is preferred. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and possess a strong sense of responsibility. A commitment to **Safety** and efficiency is paramount.
