We are seeking a diligent Material Handler to join our logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving the physical movement and organization of goods. You will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for dispatch. Accuracy, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety are paramount. You'll work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain. This position requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail to ensure that all materials are handled correctly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and containers.
- Moving inventory within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Accurately identifying, scanning, and stocking materials.
- Picking and packing orders according to specifications.
- Assembling product and preparing it for shipment.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Following all warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous. Must be capable of performing frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial. Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential. Reliability and a strong work ethic are expected. Join our team and contribute to our efficient logistics operations.
