Our thriving logistics company in Sacramento, California, is seeking experienced Forklift Operators! If you are a certified and safety-conscious individual with a proven track record of operating forklifts in a warehouse environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of goods, including loading and unloading trucks, transporting inventory to and from storage areas, and assisting with order fulfillment. Maintaining a high level of Safety awareness and adherence to all operational procedures is crucial. You will operate various types of forklifts and must be diligent in conducting pre-use inspections and basic maintenance. Compliance with all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements is mandatory. This role involves substantial physical demands, including frequent Lifting of items up to 60 pounds, as well as prolonged periods of standing and operating machinery. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach).
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any issues.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and procedures.
- Wear all required PPE at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification and license.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting and stand for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety protocols.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
