You will be responsible for managing both inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Your tasks will include unloading trucks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing documentation, and coordinating with carriers. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments.
- Verify outgoing shipments against orders.
- Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts.
- Keep the shipping and receiving areas clean and organized.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external carriers.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and shipping software.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A steadfast commitment to Safety.
