Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our logistics team in Seattle, Washington. This vital role ensures the smooth flow of goods into and out of our facility. You will be responsible for managing both incoming shipments, verifying contents, and preparing outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently. A strong understanding of logistics operations, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this position. You will be a key player in maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring timely deliveries to our customers and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Accurately record received goods into the inventory management system.
  • Stage incoming products for put-away or further processing.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling orders.
  • Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent tracking and data entry.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification required) and pallet jacks safely.
  • Ensure the shipping and receiving areas are clean, organized, and hazard-free.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Must be capable of frequent lifting and maneuvering of items up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse logistics is required.
  • Valid forklift operator certification is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and computer systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and operate machinery for extended periods.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and following all guidelines.
