Join our dynamic logistics team in Virginia Beach, Virginia, as a Warehouse Worker! We are searching for reliable individuals to contribute to the efficient operations of our distribution center. This role involves a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Your commitment to accuracy and efficiency will directly impact our ability to serve our customers. We are dedicated to fostering a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Store and organize inventory accurately within the warehouse.
- Pick items for orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Load finished goods onto trucks for outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and safe working environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ability to perform frequent lifting and moving of materials, often up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is beneficial.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Team player mentality with good communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to guidelines.
- Experience with RF scanners is a plus.
