Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyor systems, forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Respond to equipment malfunctions promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure the overall safety and cleanliness of the warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including proper lockout/tagout and PPE usage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Strong understanding of safety principles and practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Must wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety guidelines diligently.
