We are hiring a Senior Platform Architect to join a global technology organisation supporting large-scale, secure and highly available internet and platform infrastructure.
This role focuses on designing end-to-end infrastructure and producing high-quality technical architecture documentation to support complex, business-critical platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver enterprise-grade internet and platform infrastructure solutions.
Produce and maintain Technical Architecture Documents (TADs), logical designs and technical models.
Work closely with application teams, engineers and stakeholders to define and validate requirements.
Ensure architectures meet security, scalability, performance and availability standards.
Resolve infrastructure and architectural issues impacting global services.
Contribute to technology evaluations and future platform direction.
Support performance tuning, capacity planning and configuration management.
Qualifications
Strong background in infrastructure and platform architecture design.
Proven experience with cloud technologies.
Solid infrastructure security knowledge, including data centre environments.
Strong understanding of:
- Web and middleware platforms
- Operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Load balancers and Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
- Experience producing architecture diagrams and designs (e.g. Visio or similar)
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and network micro‑segmentation
- Experience working with YAML-based deployments
- Working knowledge of database technologies
Requirements
5+ years’ experience in infrastructure / platform architecture or related roles.
Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
Ability to work across distributed, multi-geography teams. xcfaprz

Contract
12 months (high likelihood of extension)
