Quality Assurance Inspector Job Description
Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of cables and raw materials. Perform electrical, mechanical, and dimensional tests, including continuity, insulation resistance, high-voltage, tensile strength, elongation, and sheath integrity checks. Ensure products comply with internal standards, BS/IEC specifications, and customer requirements. Approve or reject materials/products based on inspection results. Maintain and verify the calibration of test equipment. Record test results and maintain Certificates of Conformance, analysis reports, and inspection logs.
