Our client, a leading enterprise in the Northern Delaware region, is seeking a Systems Engineer for a direct hire position supporting a hybrid work model. This role is ideal for a seasoned IT professional with experience in cloud services, virtualization technologies, and enterprise infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain hybrid cloud environments, including upcoming Microsoft 365 and cloud services migration projects.
• Manage and optimize virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, or Oracle-based solutions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server and major Linux distributions within a large-scale corporate infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure system availability, performance, and scalability.
• Provide technical support for on-premises M365 products and infrastructure.
• Work with enterprise-grade data center hardware and ensure high system reliability.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, documentation, and operational process improvements.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in an enterprise IT environment.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms – Azure or AWS required.
• Proficient with the Microsoft 365 product suite, including hybrid/on-premises environments.
• Strong knowledge of at least one major virtualization platform (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, or Oracle solutions).
• Solid understanding of Windows Server and major Linux server operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS, SUSE).
• Familiarity with enterprise hardware and corporate data center environments.
• Strong team collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively.
