We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our globally distributed team to enable Developer Velocity. This is a key role that is responsible for designing, provisioning, monitoring and maintaining the cloud on-premise datacenter and public cloud automation framework. This individual will work on developing the automated pipelines for cloud environments as well as providing consulting services to application and infrastructure teams specific to automated build, test and release automation.

About The Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will join our globally distributed team and help enhance Developer Velocity across the organisation. In this key role, you will design, provision, monitor, and maintain both on‑premise datacenter and public cloud automation frameworks. You will develop robust CI/CD pipelines that support efficient, reliable software delivery while managing and optimising cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, you will automate provisioning and configuration processes, ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence.
This position also involves integrating and maintaining security tools like SonarCloud and OWASP ZAP to strengthen quality and security throughout the development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with global development and operations teams to streamline deployments, ensure high system reliability, and proactively monitor performance across distributed environments. Additionally, you will create and maintain automation scripts and tools in C# or Python, troubleshoot pipeline issues, and advocate for DevOps best practices that promote continuous improvement and alignment across teams.
Main Responsibilities Will Include- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery across multiple environments.
- Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to streamline deployment and configuration processes.
- Integrate and maintain security tools like SonarCloud and OWASP ZAP for static and dynamic code analysis within the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment processes and system reliability across distributed environments.
- Monitor system performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain high service uptime.
- Implement DevOps best practices and methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous integration, delivery, and improvement.
- Support and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, resolving build failures and deployment issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools using C# or Python to automate routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Communicate effectively across global teams, providing technical guidance and promoting alignment on DevOps strategies and solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 2+ years of proven experience in software development.
- Experience with either C#, Python, is required.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and securing cloud infrastructures.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated to plan, organise, and prioritise assigned activities.
- Proficient in using security tools for static and dynamic analysis (e.g., SonarCloud, OWASP ZAP).
- Experience with SQL and PowerShell for scripting and automation
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in performance tuning of application
