ICT Technical Resource – Networking & Cybersecurity

PFH Technology is partnering directly with a Dublin based Client who seek an Experienced ICT Technical Resource – Networking & Cybersecurity, Role is a new project, which will link in with global teams.

• 
  
• 10+ years’ experience in enterprise IT networking, cybersecurity, or related ICT roles.
  
• Strong expertise in WAN, LAN, WLAN design, routing (OSPF/BGP), switching, VLANs, EtherChannel, QoS.
  
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS, Meraki, next‑gen firewalls (Cisco/Palo Alto), VPNs, and DDoS mitigation.
  
• Knowledge of Zero-Trust segmentation, ACLs, DHCP snooping, Dynamic ARP Inspection, port security.
  
• Skilled in monitoring, telemetry, SIEM/SOC integration, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  
• Cloud networking and hybrid connectivity experience (Azure VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, VPN, BGP).
  
• Strong understanding of governance, change control, risk management, and version‑controlled documentation.
  
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
  
• Conduct comprehensive network assessments including topology diagrams, IP/VLAN schemas, device inventories, and configuration baselines.
  
• Identify and analyze network‑centric security risks, gaps, and provide prioritized remediation recommendations.
  
• Develop and implement best‑practice standards for firewalls, switching, WLAN, NAC, and change control processes.
  
• Maintain repeatable configuration templates, “golden” baselines, and as‑built documentation.
  
• Produce sequenced remediation plans, identifying required maintenance windows and dependencies.
  
• Develop incident response playbooks and operational runbooks for network‑related events.
  
• Define monitoring, logging, and telemetry strategies, including alert thresholds and dashboards.
  
• Assess cloud readiness and support hybrid connectivity design, ensuring secure alignment with SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS environments.
  
• Provide weekly status reporting on progress, risks, and key metrics.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enable secure network practices aligned with digital transformation and cloud‑first initiatives.
  
• Familiarity with VMware/Hyper‑V provisioning and hardening.
  
• Experience with cyber‑resilient backup, disaster recovery, and high‑availability network/system design.
  
• Exposure to multi‑layered enterprise security operations and cloud‑first digital transformation projects.
