Senior Project Manager

You will take ownership of project development and delivery, including:

• Leading project management strategies to ensure delivery on time, within scope and budget
• Developing delivery frameworks aligned with joint venture partners and stakeholder requirements
• Driving projects through planning, permitting, licensing, and regulatory approvals
• Overseeing preliminary and detailed design to ensure compliance with technical, safety, environmental, and statutory standards
• Managing procurement processes in line with Irish and EU regulations
• Negotiating and securing commercial contracts with key suppliers and delivery partners
• Monitoring electricity market developments and identifying commercial opportunities
• Supporting route-to-market strategy and progressing projects to financial close

This is a leadership role requiring confident decision-making, commercial negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams across engineering, commercial, and regulatory functions.

• Degree-qualified in Engineering (Level 8 or equivalent)
• 7–10+ years’ experience at Project Manager or Senior Construction Manager level
• Strong background in infrastructure, utilities, or energy projects
• Proven experience managing complex project lifecycles
• Knowledge of electricity markets and grid-connected technologies is highly advantageous
• Experience with BESS, substations, synchronous condensers, gas turbines, or similar assets is beneficial
• Excellent contract negotiation, stakeholder management, and reporting skills
• Professional membership (e.g., Engineers Ireland or equivalent) desirable
