Senior Electrical Critical Systems Engineer

As a Senior Electrical Critical Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering state‑of‑the‑art data centres for global clients. You will collaborate with industry‑leading professionals to develop innovative, energy‑efficient solutions in one of the fastest‑growing sectors in engineering.

Key responsibilities for the role:

• Lead the design and development of electrical infrastructure for mission‑critical data centre projects
• Ensure resilience, redundancy, and efficiency in electrical systems, including HV, LV, UPS, and generators
• Work closely with multi‑disciplinary teams to coordinate designs across multiple disciplines. Manage client relationships and provide expert technical guidance throughout project lifecycles
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and testing to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards
• Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to a collaborative and knowledge‑sharing culture

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Extensive industrial design experience, ideally within the data centre, mission‑critical, or power systems sector. Strong technical knowledge of power distribution, backup systems, and electrical infrastructure
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to deliver high‑quality, innovative solutions
• Strong communication and leadership skills – able to work with clients, teams, and stakeholders effectively
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as IEC, IEEE, and local codes
