The Coinbase Machine Learning team is at the forefront of creating forward-thinking ML models that improve our platform's security, personalize recommendations, and enhance user experiences. Our aim is to develop scalable, adaptive, and blockchain-aware ML systems that help users discover new opportunities within the cryptocurrency realm. Key Responsibilities: Develop, deploy, and manage machine learning models and pipelines at scale.
Pursue innovative research projects that apply cutting-edge ML technologies to solve real-world problems.
Collaborate with senior engineers and product partners to explore new ML applications within the blockchain ecosystem.
What We Seek: A Ph.D. candidate with hands-on research experience in machine learning.
Strong software engineering prowess.
Proficiency with ML coding platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Familiarity with fundamental ML techniques (e.g., supervised and unsupervised learning).
A dedicated commitment to learning and adapting to new technologies and challenges.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience or understanding of the crypto space, including on-chain activities, Ethereum address interactions, ENS usage, and engagement with dApps or blockchain services.
An interest in advanced machine learning techniques such as deep neural networks, GANs, GNNs, and time series modeling.
