Your attendance will be expected and fully supported. About Our Team: The Asset Data Platform team is responsible for managing all blockchain data at Coinbase. This is a highly visible and critical platform for our business. We develop systems to ingest and serve real-time asset and blockchain data to our customers. Our work supports every trade, chart, wallet balance, and DeFi position at Coinbase. We collect, normalize, and deliver asset metadata, real-time pricing, and historical data at scale, powering key services such as Coinbase Exchange, Wallet, and DEX. What You Will Do: Design and implement cutting-edge crypto data systems that drive Coinbase's operations.
Collaborate with stakeholders from various organizations involved in building Coinbase products or managing financial operations.
Contribute to shaping the strategy and execution roadmap of the Asset Data team.
Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using your technical expertise.
Mentor and train team members on design principles and coding standards.
Produce high-quality, thoroughly tested code to meet customer needs.
What We Look For: 10+ years of experience in backend software engineering, particularly with Golang or similar languages.
Experience architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous and impactful challenges.
Strong foundation in building distributed systems capable of handling massive scale.
Proven ability to lead complex initiatives across organizations and ensure architectural coherence.
Excellent communication skills, able to engage with stakeholders of various technical backgrounds.
Relentless commitment to setting and achieving ambitious goals.
A passion for creating an open financial system that unites the world.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cryptocurrencies.
A background in both startups and large enterprises.

Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position ranges between $253,895 and $298,700 USD. Total compensation may also include equity, bonuses, and benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
