Java Developer - Public Sector

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong backend expertise to play a key role in designing and delivering robust, secure, and scalable applications with the Public Sector.

• Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot
  
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design decisions
  
• Work on a large, complex programme with multiple stakeholders
  
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including architects, analysts, and DevOps
  
• Ensure high‑quality code, performance optimisation, and best engineering practices
  
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders

• Strong commercial experience in Java backend development
  
• Experience working on large‑scale enterprise projects xcfaprz
  
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  
• Ability to work in structured, stakeholder‑heavy environments
  
• Must be based in Ireland and able to work 2 days onsite in Dublin
