Web Engineer

Our client is a leading B2B Technology provider.

Our client is hiring two mid-level .NET Web Engineers to join a growing engineering team building secure, modern web applications. This role is mainly backend-focused in C#/.NET, with some React / Next.js frontend work, particularly around authentication and authorization.

This is a great opportunity for engineers with 3–5 years’ experience who have worked with APIs, identity providers, and modern web stacks, and want to deepen their skills in secure application development.

• 
  
• Building and maintaining ASP.NET Core Web APIs (.NET 8+, minimal APIs)
  
• Working with authentication and authorization in real-world systems
  
• Integrating APIs with enterprise identity providers (Entra ID / Okta)
  
• Supporting React / Next.js frontends with protected routes
  
• Working on frontend ↔ backend authentication flows (tokens, sessions, CORS basics)
  
• Adding basic logging and audit capabilities for admin/back-office systems
  
• Collaborating with backend and frontend engineers to deliver secure solutions
  

• 
  
• 3–5 years’ professional software development experience
  
• Strong experience with C# and ASP.NET Core
  
• Experience building or working on Web APIs
  
• Hands‑on exposure to authentication & authorization
  
• Working knowledge of OAuth2 / OIDC
  
• Experience with React (Next.js a plus)

• Experience with custom authorization policies
  
• Admin or back‑office systems
  
• Logging or audit trail experience
