Group Actuarial Manager

Our client is currently recruiting a Group Actuarial Manager to join its actuarial function on a permanent basis. The position is based in Dublin and offers a flexible hybrid working model.

This role sits within the Group / Legal Entity actuarial team, with responsibility for providing actuarial oversight, challenge and support across multiple European entities. The position has a strong focus on Solvency II and regulatory deliverables, offering excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and Group-level reporting.

• Lead the calculation of Solvency II Technical Provisions and Non-Life Underwriting Risk SCR
  
• Perform independent review and challenge of reserving outputs, working closely with Pricing, Underwriting and Claims teams
  
• Prepare and deliver quarterly reporting to internal committees and Group
  
• Contribute to annual Solvency II reporting for both legal entities and Group
  
• Support the preparation of Actuarial Function opinions, including Technical Provisions, Underwriting, Reinsurance and ORSA
  
• Assist Risk and Finance teams with ORSA and capital-related deliverables
  

• 
  
• Qualified Actuary with a minimum of 5 years’ non-life actuarial experience
  
• Strong experience working within a Solvency II framework
  
• Background in insurance, reinsurance or consulting
  
• Excellent xcfaprz technical and analytical skills with experience in data and modelling
  
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders
  
• Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
  
• Experience with Addactis, SQL or similar actuarial / data tools
