Python Developer

A global semiconductor giant based in Cork are seeking to bolster their team with a Python Developer.

Please note this is a contract opportunity requiring rights to work in Ireland already in place before applying

• Ensure high-quality code and efficient project delivery.
  
• Design and implement interactive dashboards, reports, and web applications that serve both technical and executive stakeholders.
  
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business units to gather requirements, define solutions, and drive strategic technical initiatives.
  
• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance APIs to support system integration and data interoperability.
  
• Create frameworks and tools to analyse large datasets, providing actionable insights that enhance equipment utilisation and operational decision-making.
  

• 
  
• 5+ years of professional experience in Python development and modern web application development using React and TypeScript.
  
• Proficiency with core technologies including Python, React, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern UI component frameworks.
  
• Experience with supporting technologies such as FastAPI, Docker, Git, SQL/NoSQL databases, REST APIs, and Linux environments.
  
• Strong understanding of modern build and testing tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Jest, Vitest, ESLint) and data visualisation tools like Power BI.
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, with 8+ years of total software engineering experience. xcfaprz
