The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the North Charleston, SC location.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)12+ years of experience with aircraft structural design9+ years of experience using CAD Tools on Model Based Definition for primary structures9+ years of experience in program execution from concept development, design reviews, verification and qualification, hardware/software delivery and sustainment6+ years of experience leveraging CATIA, ENOVIA, and PDM systems to support complex aerospace product design, configuration control, and lifecycle management.3+ years of experience collaborating and performing oversight on projects with international partners/suppliers3+ years of experience supporting test development and executionPart 21 and Part 25 Code of Federal Regulations subject matter expert knowledgeConsultant level demonstrated autonomy while working with leadership and cross-functional technical teamsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience as a Design Approval Engineer (DAE)3+ years of lead experience using CATIA and Model Based Definition (MBD) for primary structure design3+ years of lead experience designing and qualifying composite primary and secondary structures, including laminate design, ply-drop strategies, and structural strength considerations3+ years of experience working in Product Development, Production, and Fleet phases of the Product Life Cycle3+ years of hands-on experience with fabrication of metallic and composite structures3+ years of experience interacting with Federal RegulatorsConflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift:This role is for 1st shift, however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectivesPay Range Summary:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
