Who we're looking for We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Lead Data Engineer for a Fortune 100 client. This is a long term role in Plano, TX Position: Lead Data Engineer Location: Plano, TX Duration: Long-Term What you will bring:
Excellent knowledge of AWS platform as an AWS Cloud Engineer building data architectures for SQL and noSQL based applications. Familiarity with data processing services of GCP Ability to create data models of various types and create multi layer architecture involving storage and movement. Ability to write code using Scala and Python (includind libraries) Prior experience in leading data engineers Proficient in CI/CD pipelines in GitActions, Jenkins, Cloud build etc. Desried Skills:
Familiar with Marketing functions Certified in AWS or GCP as engineer or solutions architect Familiarity with Martech Saas applications of the Adobe, Google, Salesforce families.
What you will do: The main responsibilities of this role, a. Provide design leadership to data engineers in keeping with architectural directions b. Design and develop data architectures to support data movement, storage, usage of the data and ensure its privacy & scurity. c. Provide guidance to engineering leadership and product manages as needed.
