The Enterprise Architect (EA) is responsible for defining, maintaining, and governing the enterprise architecture framework across the organization. This role ensures alignment between business strategy and technology investments, driving long-term scalability, integration, security, and efficiency across systems and platforms. The Enterprise Architect partners with executive leadership, business stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering teams to design and implement a cohesive technology ecosystem that supports business growth and digital transformation initiatives.
THIS IS A PERMANENT ROLE BASED IN SOUTH DUBLIN
THE ROLE IS ONSITE 3 DAYS A WEEK
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap aligned to business strategy.
- Define architectural standards, principles, and best practices.
- Establish and govern enterprise-wide architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
- Lead architecture review boards and ensure compliance with governance standards.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations.
- Translate business capabilities and strategic objectives into architectural solutions.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify capability gaps and transformation opportunities.

- Guide cloud strategy, modernization initiatives, and legacy transformation.
- Support IT portfolio management and investment prioritization.
- Provide architectural input into major technology initiatives and RFPs.
- Identify cost optimization and technical debt reduction opportunities.
- Ensure architectural designs comply with security, regulatory, and data privacy requirements.
- Identify enterprise-level technology risks and mitigation strategies.
You Will Ideally Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT architecture, systems design, or technology leadership.
- 5+ years in an enterprise or solution architecture role.
- Strong experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF. xcfaprz
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
