About the role

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be part of the team that works on the development and maintenance of the backend components of multiple services related to the platform. This includes the following responsibilities and requirements:

• New Products and Features - Tether continuously strives to create innovative new features using agile methodologies to ensure a high-quality user experience.
• Scalability - ensure backend services power the platform effectively as user growth increases, staying smooth, responsive, and real-time.
• Security - build API services and backend processes with strong security principles to protect the entire user base.

• At least 5 years of experience working with JavaScript/Node.js.
• Familiar with microservices architecture.
• Experience in interacting with databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Good understanding of security practices.

• Experience with blockchain integration.
• Comfortable with high-availability concepts.
• Ruby and Rails experience.
• Other technologies of interest: message queues (Redis), caches and job queues.
